The Guest House itself has a unique atmosphere, a combination of classic charm and modern style. A generous breakfast is served outside on the veranda of our Guest House, or indoors nearthe fireplace on that few cold winter mornings.

The guest rooms are situated in a beautiful landscaped garden where you will enjoy the wide range of birds, trees, fruit and flowers.A friendly environment with a variety of colourful South African plants and birds to enjoy.

Rooms and facilities

Swellendam Country Lodge has six comfortable guest rooms. In the garden, separate from the main house, are four rooms. Another two garden-rooms are situated on the position of the former coach-house – 'die waenhuis'. The accommodation is surrounded by yellowwood trees, fruit trees and palms. The guest rooms have an atmosphere of natural charm, classic beauty combined with modern comfort. Stylish bedrooms, decorated with taste and an eye for detail. All rooms of our B&B have a private entrance and an own veranda overlooking the beautiful garden. Bathroom en suite with walk-in shower, or with bath and separate walk-in shower
On warm summer days, the large sparkling swimming pool is a refreshment not to be missed.
